Can our synagogues respond to the rapid changes of 21st Century Jewish life?
Dan Libenson, one of the leading thinkers in the Jewish community, will guide us through an examination of the realities facing our congregations today and in the coming years. He will also facilitate a discussion around strategies that will enable us to reimagine how our congregations may best serve our community in the future.

Who should come? Congregational Lay and Professional Leaders. (You are encouraged to attend in teams – it’s the best way to ensure that the conversation continues!)
Daniel Libenson is the founder and president of the Institute for the Next Jewish Future and co-host of the Judaism Unbound podcast. His extensive background in Jewish communal innovation includes six years as Executive Director of the University of Chicago Hillel and three years as Director of New Initiatives at Harvard Hillel. Dan has published articles in Ha’aretz, The New York Jewish Week, Zeek, eJewishPhilanthropy, and elsewhere. He lives in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago with his wife and two children.

The Hershel Richman Reshet Workshop for Synagogue Change is made possible by a gift from his children Barak, Hannah & Josh in honor of his 75th birthday.
