Recognizing Jewish Disability Awareness & Inclusion Month Join TBH-BE’s celebration of Jewish Disability Awareness & Inclusion Month on March 1, 2019 with an event focused on disability inclusion, mental health and faith. This event is being held in conjunction with the NJOP’s Shabbat Across America and is supported by the Charlotte and Nathan Becker Holocaust Torah Endowment Fund.

8:15 PM “The Unique Challenges and Opportunities of Faith Communities to Support Mental Health Needs”
Speaker: Dave Eckert, MDiv, CPRP, Director of the Intersect Initiative at Access Services
Dave Eckert has spent 16 years working for Access Services in various roles including Director of Starting Point, a mobile psychiatric rehabilitation program. Currently, he works with the Intersect Initiative, which supports those standing at the intersection of faith and mental health through consultation, training and fostering collaboration between faith communities and the mental health field. In addition, Dave has served as Associate Pastor of Grace Community Church in Chalfont, PA for the last decade.
