1 in 68 children is being diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). As our schools are becoming more inclusive of children with learning and behavioral differences, it’s essential that teacher have an understanding of what autism is and how to support students with ASD. This session will be taught by special education teacher Andrea Smith, who has extensive experience teaching kids on the spectrum.
