Many of us in the Philadelphia area remember fondly Lior Liebling from the inspirational documentary, “Praying with Lior.” This movie chronicles his journey, as a prayerful boy with Down Syndrome, to becoming a Bar Mitzvah. Today he is an accomplished young adult living a rich full life. On Shabbat morning, February 23, Lior will join us to pray and describe his continued journey to satisfying work, living independently with friends at JCHAI and synagogue involvement, especially with Celebrations and Mitzvah Mensches. Dr. Beth Rosenwasser, Director of Community Engagement and Program Development for JCHAI, Judith Creed Horizons for Achieving Independence, will introduce our program. Please join us for this special JDAIM event. A Kiddush lunch, to which all are invited, will follow services.
