Description: With a recognition of the importance of mental wellness in our communities, we are excited to offer this workshop through the Blue Dove Foundation.

Participants will be guided through different activities that explore Jewish values and prayer as they connect to mental health. Time will be spent on eight middot (Jewish values) and understanding the importance of the mi shebeirach for mental health and addiction.

We have room for thirty participants in this workshop. If the $18 registration fee is a concern, please contact Gabrielle Kaplan-Mayer for a scholarship.

About the speaker: Carly Coons, LSW (she/her/hers) is our Director of Education and Programming. She is Licensed Social Worker and a Youth and Teen Mental Health First Aid Instructor. She has a passion for working in the Jewish community, helping to integrate mental wellness into spaces in an intentional way. Carly has worked in the Jewish community her whole career, working primarily in the youth and camping world in the Denver Jewish community.
