Wednesday, April 1st from 1:00pm – 2:00pm: Pam Woods, OT, presenting: Positions for Focus, Function, and Fun in the ECE Classroom”—This training will examine various positions of a child’s body displayed during ‘routines’ throughout the day. We will explore ways to encourage ‘calming and alerting’ positions and strategies. Three case studies will be presented with an Occupational Therapist’s approach to problem-solving and positioning strategies to support ‘optimal’ learning.
