“In a time of physical distancing it’s been a blessing to have the jkidphilly community bringing a feeling of interconnectedness. The many zoom and live video programs for families have continually enriched our day-to-day learning and connecting.”

FACEBOOK LIVES
VIEWERS
We went live every weekday on jkidphilly’s Facebook page with songs, activities, gardening, and more. Most videos were done by jkidphilly Director Lisa Litman or other members of the JLV team. Many were also guest videos by artists, science teachers, gardeners and more.
Webinars for Virtual Jewish Life

We held “How to Host a Virtual Seder” to help families navigate both the virtual aspects of seder and, for some, the first-time leading experience. We also held a Virtual Grandparenting conversation to share about positive ways to connect with grandchildren while social distancing.

Tools to Plan and Act
Through a series of scenario planning sessions and compiled data from 22 EARLY CHILDHOOD SCHOOLS, we are helping our educators stay connected while also planning for an uncertain future. We are also developing a new video for social media thanking Jewish educators and boosting morale.
