Welcoming and Embracing People with Mental Illnesses in the Jewish Community

Dr. Mark Salzer will be joining us for a special Shabbat Service. He will be discussing what it takes to be a welcoming and embracing congregation towards individuals with mental illnesses. Dr. Salzer is a psychologist and Professor of Social and Behavioral Sciences in the College of Public Health at Temple University. He is also the Principal Investigator and Director of the Temple University Collaborative on Community Inclusion of Individuals with Psychiatric Disabilities.
