“Nuremberg: Its Lesson for Today [The Schulberg/Waletzky Restoration] the U.S. government’s official film about the first Nuremberg trial, shows how the allied prosecution teams built their case against top Nazi leaders in one of the greatest courtroom dramas in history. Made in 1948, the newly-restored film is narrated by Liev Schreiber. The original film was written and directed by Stuart Schulberg for the U.S. Department of War and completed under the aegis of the Motion Picture Branch of U.S. Military Government in Berlin. Restoration Producer Sandra Schulberg, Stuart’s daughter and a filmmaker in her own right, will introduce the film and speak afterwards.

Andrew L. Strauss, Professor of Law and Dean of Faculty Research and Development at Widener Law School, will present a discussion on “Nuremberg and International Law Today” before the screening for attorneys seeking credit. Attorney program begins at 5:30 pm and includes dinner.
