The Jewish Special Needs Consortium of Greater Philadelphia welcomes all local rabbis to join us for breakfast and learning in honor of Jewish Disabilities Awareness Month.
We will explore ways that rabbis can welcome people with different abilities and their families into Jewish community, consider what supports and kinds of counseling families might need and ways that communities can set up supports for families who are struggling. We will also share successful models of how synagogues can make holidays and Shabbat more inclusive.
