Amiram Amitai grew up in Israel and was a published author as a child! After graduating from Hebrew University, he did his graduate studies in Motion Pictures at UCLA. Amiram has been working as an independent film/videomaker, whose award-winning work has been distributed in schools and libraries and aired on TV. He has taught film-related topics at Gratz College and Drexel, and currently teaches at Temple and Bryn Mawr. He serves on the Philadelphia Israeli Film Festival committee. His documentary, The Case of Jonathan Pollard, was screened at the Philadelphia Jewish Film Festival.
