Description: Through diving into the roots of our Israel education, we can understand how to transform our classroom education into interactive online teaching that fosters deeper understanding and engagement.
These sessions, led by Sara Zebovitz, will explore the use of various online teaching methods through topics in Israel education, including culture, language, politics, and the tough stuff. This is a 2-part series.
Sara Zebovitz is the Director of Institutional Advancement at Interfaith Philadelphia. Previously, she was the Director of Habonim Dror North America, has also served on the boards of Ameinu and the American Zionist Movement, and was active in the Foundation for Jewish Camp. She coordinated the re-emerging American Zionist Youth Council, an organization that brings together Jewish youth from across the religious and political spectrum. Sara made Aliya in to an Urban Kibbutz in the Dror Israel movement, and served as the Education Director of Habonim Dror’s Workshop gap-year and as a madricha for Israeli gap-year students, until she returned to the Philadelphia area during the COVID pandemic.
