Description: Want to make your workplace more inclusive but don’t know where to start? As JCCs continue to uphold the value of inclusion, and work to make their communities more inclusive of people with disabilities, it is also vital to look inwards and consider what is being done to ensure that the workplace is accessible and inclusive as well.

Join Emily Ladau—a passionate disability rights activist who harnesses the power of storytelling to engage people in learning about disability—for an important dialogue about how to start these conversations. The author of Demystifying Disability: What to Know, What to Say, and How to be an Ally, Emily has tremendous experience educating professionals on how to actively engage the value of inclusion in their everyday work and life. Emily will be in conversation with Gabrielle Kaplan-Mayer, an experienced Jewish educator and author of the chapter “Disability Access and Inclusion” in the recently published book Warm and Welcoming: How the Jewish Community Can Become Truly Diverse and Inclusive in the 21st Century.
