Yesterday, our community came together for Super Sunday – the largest fundraising day of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia. Jewish Learning Venture is a proud partner of Federation, and we are grateful for their support which help to fund a number of our programs and services. Volunteers flooded Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy to make calls and show their support throughout the day. We at Jewish Learning Venture were happy to be a part of the Community Fair for agencies and Jewish organizations, and jkidphilly helped out with family programming for a portion of the morning. By the end of the day, Federation had more than reached its fundraising goal, with $1,027,125 raised from 2,442 gifts. Yasher Koah to Super Sunday Co-chairs Sheree & Wayne Block and Robin & Steven Katz, and everybody else involved in making Super Sunday a great day for our community!
