More about Sherrie
Sherrie R. Savett is a Managing Shareholder, Chair Emerita at the law firm of Berger & Montague, P.C. She has been selected as a “Super Lawyer” by Philadelphia Magazine every year for more than a decade, and was designated this year by the Philadelphia Business Journal as “Best of the Bar 2018”.
Sherrie is a past President of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia (JFGP) and is currently a member of its Board of Directors and Trustees. Nationally, she has served on the Executive Committee and Board of Trustees of the Jewish Federations of North America. She also currently serves on several regional and national boards, including the National Museum of American Jewish History, The National Liberty Museum, and American Associates of Ben Gurion University of the Negev.
She has recently become a member of the PJ Library Alliance Partners, a major funding group that supports PJ Library and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation. She is a member of the Germantown Cricket Club and the Union League of Philadelphia. Sherrie received her B.A. (Summa Cum Laude) and J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.
In her spare time, she enjoys tennis, biking, travel, collecting art, and first and foremost, spending time with her children and her grandchildren.
