I was very excited to start the TAP program for many reasons but most importantly I wanted to learn how to take care of all kinds of kids to the best of my ability. TAP helped me with this by teaching me how to help kids who learn differently than most kids but by also giving me the tools to learn more from anyone.

My main takeaway from the program is that all types of behavior is communication, and how if you pay attention to how they are acting you can learn how to help them learn in the best way for them. Ever since I learned this I have been a better assistant teacher and just person. I am able to help the kids I teach even better because this program taught me how to help kids. From this season I also learned that kids help themselves even before they realize it and they just need someone who can interpret their actions in a way to help them.

I have been in the youngest class at my Hebrew school for the past three years. This year has been the first year I have noticed there has been a significant decrease in situations with students that I had no idea how to deal with and that is all thanks to the TAP program. I have been a better madricha and a better person all because I learned how to help others in ways that actually help them be able to help themselves.

Overall the TAP program was extremely beneficial to my teaching ability and I would highly recommend completing this program to anyone who wants to know how to help all types of children.
