TAP has taught me so much because as someone with a learning disability I learned how to help others that also have learning disabilities. I learned about different types of disabilities that people can have and I also learned good ways to help them. TAP has taught me that everyone learns so differently so the way that you learn something is probably not the same as the way that the kids in your class learn things. So you need to find the best way that each student learns and go from there.
I have had many teachers help me learn the best way and I plan on using the skills I have learned from TAP and the ways my teachers have taught me to help kids learn in the best way that they can. I learned that you have to try to encourage kids and show them new ways that learning Hebrew can be fun and very successful at the same time.
From TAP I learned how to be around and work around many different types of people and learned how to have patience when people don’t learn the same way that others do. Many of the strategies we have learned I have already been able to practice when I am working with children and other people at Hebrew school.
